TO THOSE PLAYING ME

Hey everybody.  My turns may be spotty for awhile; my house flooded.  In the split-level home, the lower floor has 5 1/2 feet of water in it.  I am now in the process of throwing away half of my family’s possessions.

Sadly, I lost five different versions of Axis & Allies in the flood.  :|

So thanks for the understanding if I don’t get my turns in for a bit.

Sorry to hear about your home.

No worries about our game. I will just “move” it to the top every few days to keep track of it.

On a side note, I actually have two Spring 1942 versions and would gladly mail one to you if you need a replacement  8-)

Really sorry to hear this. Total bummer.

Be sure to call your insurance company.  I sell real estate and I know people try to handle this on their own, but best to get your insurer involved quickly.  You might take a photo of your lost stuff even as you throw it away - so you can remember everything you lost later if filing a claim.  Also, if you have a finished lower level…cut away the water damaged drywall, it will never be the same and can become moldy.  Carpets can be dried and saved, but the pad is a sponge and worthless.
