NA Power Blackout Toronto/Detroit/Cleveland/NYC…

  • @TG:

    El Jefe,
Well hell, if I’d had not known better, you could’ve made a nice Pope. ;)
I tend to be the evil-good teacher, so that helps. :)

    I am always the chaotic-neutered obsessive-compulsive porn-monk.

  • @cystic:

    love that New York mayor.
Easy to blame Canada. Now no matter what the cause was, we’re the scapegoat.
    Thanks jerk.

Didja hear Pataki, The NY gov. saying it was Canada, too.

It’s a Bush-Canada conspiracy! The invasion has begun.

We give up! Canada can have everything down to the Ohio and Missouri Rivers. We’ll even throw in Washington and Oregon states.

Oh, you gotta take the politicians that raperesent these regions, too.

(Heh-heh! Even though we lose… We win! We win!

  • So I guess the cause is still yet to be determined then…

  • you know, damn Bloomberg for blaming Canada. Because what I love about those Canadians is they dont make generalizations. They are too busy playing hockey, drinking beer, or putting maple syrup on their ham.

    hmmmm . . . generalizations with ham-syrup . . . :D
apparently something started in Ohio (according to the NY Times).
an appology would be nice about now.

  • It’s too late for apologies! I’m a Canadian. I’ve contacted a hitman, with instructions too gory and too terrifying that would probably incinerate this whole message board if I were to post them here.

slaps wrist ahHH there you go threatening forum members again Chris! Sorry

  • putting maple syrup on their ham.

I like my maple syrup with sausage links. :) Also good for instant sugar rush, followed by diabetes. Oops…

No! Wisconsin will never surrender to the Canadians! Not that there’s any difference if you’re from S. of Illinois anyway. Besides, we’re too busy plotting our conquest of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. D**n cartographers and surveyors, not to mention Michiganites.

  • Would an apology from a resident of SE Indiana who works in Ohio suffice?

I’m sorry I didn’t do it myself. It woulda bin a bigger bang for the Cannuck! Did I say that?

PS(Which is stupid cuz on a computer it can be cut and pasted prescipt.) - Did I spell the “C” word correctly?

  • I do not care if they do not make Generalizations about people Screw Canada!!!
i will explain what they should be in an anology

Canada is to Austria in 1938

as America is to Germany in 1938

    :P damn Cannucks!!!

  • one too many “n’s”.
interesting tho’ - most of the brighter Germans were actually from Austria.

  • @CC:

interesting tho’ - most of the brighter Germans were actually from Austria.

    So was Hitler. :)

    ahem.

So, the problem was in Ohio.
After the New York mayor blamed Canada, the Toronto moron/mayor replied “so? When’s the last time that Americans accepted responsibility for anything?”

  • Blame Canada… Blame Canada

  • Hey, I just heard on the local news that it was some geek at Cinergy(serving SW Ohio and SE Indiana) that saved the rest of the country(actually it was just the Southern and Atlantic states) from getting hit by the growing blackout!

That’s my energy transporter(energy supplied by cheaper co-ops.)

Nothing I like better than a useful geek. :o

  • And it was not a lack of energy, but a mess in the distribution system….

You know that is the thing that the Republicans didn’t want to be reformed during the Clinton Admin…
Because then, energy might have become more expensive… like closer to its actual value ;)…

EJ, you really were a teacher? You spoiled a generation of kids? damn… i did have hope for the future, but no, there will be more years with more narrow-minded french-bashers…

    ahhh French bashers . . . can’t have enough of them . . . :)

  • But pirates, it’s okay to make fun of them. :P

  • @TG:

Until they make you walk the plank.

  • What’s a pirate always looking for, even though it’s right behind him?

    His booty!

  • Arrrrrrrgh!
