    I edited the French move back.  The game is right.  You probably didn’t notice, but I purchased an Italian destroyer.  You can’t move your French destroyer into combat during the NCM.

    I concede, sir!  I never recovered from my Round 8 whoopings.  Would have been a different game had I destroyed the Atlantic fleet and survived with a navy.  Had to spend too much thereafter to rebuild instead of putting boots on the ground vs. Russia.

    You know…you had a very sound strategy going there in the early rounds. I almost conceded since Uk was out and all the US was doing was trading Spain every round.
    But I had strong Russian forces so I held out until I could merge my two stacks of infantry and artillery. Even after I did that the game was close…Germany just couldn’t build enough in time to stop the Russian armor though.

    i think the bad luck for Japan didn’t help either.  I’ve won with this strategy in the Pacific.  The US gets so distracted by the UK loss, that they don’t spend much in the Pacific.  But, without Japan threatening and the loss of the German navy, it was over.
