@Cornwallis I should also say I have play tested mine only twice. So that’s why I say it may or may not be balanced. I mainly focused on historical accuracy for my first version.

Im just glad to see Larry is coming around to the fact that the 1940 setup takes too long to enjoy in just one day.
And I am very much looking forward to see what Larry has put his rubber stamp on.
And supposedly this is happening TODAY?Why are we so in the dark about this? I want to see the setup!
Yes oztea, where is the Triplea file of your '41 setup?
-
Im not home now, but I have a save and I’ll post it soon.
-

This would have been a great time for WOTC and Larry to have their first expansion pack. Global 42. New map and new rulebook. Bingo expansion.
-
Can no one post this 42 set up?is it not allowed?
-
Here is the 1941 setup.
I might add 1 french infantry to French equatorial Africa in the future, but this should be the current setup. Also, god damn, where is this 1942 larry setup!
-
So was no one there to get a copy of the setup?
Was over a week ago now I wonder why all the secrecy?
I would love a 42 start. -
I just finished a 42 setup of my own. Ill be typing it up and posting it shortly.
It hasn’t been tested yet though.
-
here is the set-up pdf

Nice Oztea 1941 and LH 1942 scenarios look very nice.
Can’t wait for your session reports!
-
Nice. Ty ghr2
So with oZteas 41 setup we now have 3 setups :-D -
Wow Larry’s setup is SLIM on units.
I prefer LOADS of units, chip stacks everywhere!
-
Larry’s setup also changes the turn order
So a bit more difficulty implementing into the triplea g40I really would rather it be a 42 setup that essentially ‘skips the first 3 turns’
So in 1942 setup game would begin on round 4, instead of a whole new turn order loloh well
-
We actually have four setups now: Global 1940, oztea 1941, LH 1942 and oztea 1943.
Of course, this doesn’t include all the Alphas and OOB setups.
I noticed Larry changed the turn order for the Global 1942 setup. I was wondering about oztea’s  setups. We use the same turn order for the 41 and 43 setups as for the 40 setup, right? -
You mean my 194_2_ setup, which can be found here. (Time frame is late may, 1942)
http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=30862.0
Probably has 3x as many units as Larry’s setup, which is basically just a copy of the Spring 1942 2nd Edition setup brought over to the big board.

Do you have a triplea savegame for 42 aswell?

I will try to make a saved game.

The only problem is that I don’t know how to edit units on transports without going through a turn the hard way. Or even how to edit politics.
-
You can just edit, go through a turn (make sure everything is where it belongs) end the turn, then edit cash on hand (which you can do I think)
-
I enjoy the Global 1940 2nd Edition game, although it can be lengthy. I looked over the LH Global 1942 and it looks very interesting, but I have a few questions.
1-Before starting the game, is there a need to establish any type of non-aggression pact between Russia and Japan?
2-Is the situation between Russia, Mongolia and Japan the same?
3-1st turn: Does Italy attack France in Tunisia? And if so can Italy bring in more troops?
4-1st turn: Does Japan attack US ships in SZ 49? Or can it retreat the sub, or can it bring in more warships?
