    no, your transports were involved in the battle.  therefore they cannot be used in noncom.  i am really really surprised you are not aware of that rule if you were so dominant in AA50 - it hasn’t changed.

    bottom line, if the seazone is hostile at the start of your turn, the transports in that zone cannot be used in noncom, period.  if you do not want them to end in that zone, then they must leave the zone in combat move, but then their turn is over wherever they stop.

    No, you can’t load them during the combat phase OR the noncombat phase with the transports that were in 91 at the start of your turn.  You would need a transport from another zone to come in during the noncombat phase to get them.

    It was the same in AA50 - that rule is 4 1/2 years old

    No rush you can get a ruling but gamer is a rules authority.  If only krieg will suffice then go ahead and ask.  It is for sure already covered in the faq but I know its long and nearly impenetrable.

    They were in the zone, they were part of the combat.  That’s the rationale Krieghund has given.

    You must move them out of the zone in combat movement to avoid combat.  If you do that, they can’t do anything in noncombat.
