My calc shows 16 inf and 4 art lost at the 47%ile mark.  So that was pretty dang close to the median result.

Winning with 2 infantry and 4 art left over was a top 10% result, though.

I don’t “choose” battles when odds are against me in one way or another.  And in stark contrast your single defenders hit just about every time…  And the difference for eastern poland is if you had a bad first round, even if you retreated it would have looked totally different in that area.
