Apparently you guys see nothing wrong with what was posted about the Boston tragedy.  The comment itself affected me and my teammate strongly and the fact that there is no apology and that Veq appears to be complicit does not sit well at all.  If and when we are willing to continue, you will hear from Dutch - I will be saying nothing more until we hear from him.

This is like going to a comedy show and getting mad at the comedian cracking a 747 plane crash joke. The net is a heterotopia, you can find jokes about everything and anything, you just so happened to find one here. I am also Portuguese you know, that is how we communicate how we feel, yes it is joke, but the context of the joke is that the event really sucked for the runners. You all upset about nothing. If I crack a Boston Witch Hunt joke would you be all upset about the suspects getting shot without a trial? Or all mad because you claim to be related to an ancestor of the Salem witch trials? Or all offended because Bostonians are over zealous? It seems like they got the right guy. Need to see the footage first before I critique, these guys were throwing bombs out of the car… pretty sure a cop car in hot pursuit has the footage. The story is pretty incredible, kills cop, jacks cruiser, robs 7-11, throws bombs out of car,  jacks mercedez, ditches it, runs away, escapes.

If it is war then it is war, innocent people die all the time in war, seen it first hand. It is what it is.

Our society locks up 1/99 people and it is incredible that stuff like this still happens. We let the elderly live in care homes, care for them, clean them, push them around in chairs, feed them, but we cannot do anything for the mentally ill. Our society is incredible. How many millions on welfare? Incredible.

We are going to see many more Jokers like this. Will batman save us?

My wife is a marathoner.  I was still getting texts from people asking if she was in the race and if she was OK when the post was made.  Several days later I am yes I am outraged.  It is not false and it is not fake.  Someone lost their 8 yer old son and grandson.  Somebody lost their wife and sister.  This morning someone else lost a husband and father.  There is no humor in that, not of any kind, or at any time.  I am ashamed that I even know of somebody that would make a comment like that, let alone playing with him in a game.

As some know, I am an attorney for a living, and fit to the task, I have pretty thick skin.  But that depraved, sick comment got to me.  You can call it ‘dark humor’ all you want, but there is not one thing humorous about.  Makes me sick to my stomach. I have hardly logged on all week because frankly it makes me sick to be the same place as that Idiot.

So, it didn’t offend you Veqryn.  Don’t you dare say that it’s ‘false outrage and fake moral righteousness’.  What the fuck do you know about what it is?  For a long time I thought this was an odd coupling, Veqryn and Cow, but now I see they are fit for each other.  I have asked time and again to keep stupid non-game comments off this board, and not only do I get ignored, but then the Idiot makes a disgusting, idiotic, offensive, heartless comment about something, as it was happening, that has absolutely nothing to do with Axis and Allies. This isn’t You Tube.  This isn’t your stupid juvinile blog.  I can go anywhere and read stupid offensive shit, but I don’t come here to see it. Seems like the allies are delaying this game with all the edits and chat, roll the damn dice everyone and get this show moving! As far as the poor taste in jokes, ignore it or you make it more acceptable to say stupid things in the future to elicit your reactions. If your am attorney and see messed up things daily, which I’m sure you do Dutch, I think you know this and can understand why your so emotionally bothered by this. I ran my first marathon last fall in chicago.  I cannot imagine getting near the finish line after running 26 miles and having something like this occur.  I too cannot believe Veq would state that we are faking something and concurrently trying to take back an edit that was allowed even after he has completed the italian turn.

I would like to hear an apology and if we continue it must be with no comments from any player.  Game related post only.
