    I’m going to scramble 3 fighters and aim six Kamikaze attacks at the Battleship in SZ 6.

    (In the future, you may want to rethink the mechanics of this move.  Very risky.  As this is your first game, you may not be aware of the risk you were placing your carrier in by moving unnecessarily as an attacker into SZ 17.  Any SZ with a little Red dot has Kamikaze/s units in it. There are a total of six such “attacks” for the Japanese.  It is a single shot attack, a roll of a one or a two scores a hit.  Were I to successfully score a single hit on your aircraft carrier, your 2 fighters in SZ 6 would be lost regardless of combat, because there is nowhere for them to land (they would fight, then die).  On the other hand, were you to wait and move your ships into that sea zone on a Noncom move, there is no battle, so the carrier is safe.  In this case it doesn’t matter…)

    Also, Transports cannot be targeted by Kamikaze, no honor in that (part of the rules, just figured I would mention it now).

    So scramble 3 fighters; aim 6 Kamikaze attacks at battleship.  Order of Loss – OOL: 1/2 Battle, 1/2 carrier, Destroyer, Kill carrier, Destroyer…

    If your subs are alive, Kill Battleship, then Tact, then fighters
    If your subs are gone at this point, Tactical, then Kill battleship, then fighters. Survivors land in Japan.
