I was expecting a BB attack, killing the other 3 stack, and more air / better odds on the other battles.
But now that I see this turn, I like it.

I am always a fan of removing china from the game when the opportunity is there.

cow actually had a little better than a coin flip on india, but with how fantastic his dice came out, he would probably have CRUSHED india.  probably his last chance to get great dice that could give him hope of a victory.  :|

kind of funny how the weird mongolian rules allow russian troops into korea (and any other territory bording mongolia), and allow them to fight against japanese units, so long as someone else conquered korea instead of them

I hate to rain on everyone’s parade… but wasn’t the Russian involvement in China a few turns ago a Russian D.O.W. that negates the need for a D.O.W. by Japan?

Also, by the same rules, for Russia to occupy non-russian lands, or board allied transports, they need to be  in a state of war, on that game board.

By the same token, the allies can’t land in Russian territories unless a state of war also exists.

The only exception here, may be in how the Mongolia rules are written, that if certain territories are attacked, regardless of the current state of war, that the neutrals get activated.

What they are doing is legal.

the DOW by russia on japan is a separate issue from the mongolia pact.  i’m guessing you’ve figured this out but let me know if you would like further clarification.

cow, if you lose (at this point i’m forced to say IF because
with this most recent incredibly lucky strike, you are probably operating with essentially a 60-80 ipc bid), any credibility you may theoretically have had will dissipate like a fart in the wind…  especially if you don’t end up losing because of some incredibly unlucky result in a major battle.  but if by some crazy twist the one sided luck in this one evens out, i don’t want to hear any whining from you about bad luck cuz the first 4 rounds (the most important rounds) have been ALL YOU.
