Hey Veq, do you and Bung have any plans to tackle the tripleA map for Axis&Allies WWI? Just got mine fresh off the mint board game Friday. It is beautiful. Playing my first practice f2f later today. Pretty pumped.

bung will probably not take any part in it (for global he only did the map side of things for the OOB version. I was the one responsible for both the 2nd edition version, and also for all the triplea engine changes that actually made the map play)
i have plans to start on 1914 sometime next month

how do you guys come out ahead on every battle? no single battle has been crushing so far (with the exception of the z6 laugher) but these little 2 inf here, 1 mech there, etc has added up to a pretty significant difference. again, not begruding you, i’m glad the dice are going your way… it’s just weird how it keeps happening again, and again, and again… :wink:

overwhelming odds don’t decrease the percentage that the defender should hit in 1 round. I have often thought that when the odds are overwhelming the defender should have a penalty against their ability tohit so the attacker cant hit 100 times Iin round 1 and the defender still gets a 1 I 3 chance to hit but thats how it is… unless u figured out some way to penalize the defender…( can anyone say veq back door programming?) :?

Course in z6 when WE had overwhelming odds u hit twice with no loss…. just sayin… its weird :roll:
