Here’s another map called; Russian Ridge. Its kind of patterned after the Russian Steppes maps with some geology to create good fighting terrain. The road was high level bombed and created shellholes benefiting the Infantry.
The nashorn can see through only 1 hex. That means you can ignore the obstruction, whatever it is(forest, city, mountain, etc). If the enemy is behind 2 hexes of obstruction, then it is no good.
Honestly, I have definitely been looking for something like this. But I’m not sure if you’re talking about the same thing as me; could you possibly provide a link that shows the finished product?
You should ask them for Photo Quality Heavy Stock paper. It usually costs a bit extra, but definitely worth it. Using regular glossy paper just defeats the purpose of printing them as the colors bleed and even the regular glossy paper is not durable enough.
While it’s true that most of the WotC maps are on grass, not all of them are. Additionally many players have made their own custom desert maps, and I’m helping to work on a winter one (for Battle of the Bulge)
