keep in mind that strat and tac bombing combat is the first in the order of combat. technically you should have run the india bombing first, in which case you would have had both bombers shot down since your two first dice (bombards) were two ones. :-P
the order of combat is:
1. strat and tac bombing raids (in any order)
2. amphibious assaults, preceeded by any sea battles in landing zones (in any order)
3. all other combat (in any order)this round will stand as rolled no problem, but in the future, please be sure to proceed with your battles in this order. it is specified in the rules clearly, and it does make a significant difference sometimes.
