  • Top of list: if you lose your capital, I get your IPC’s and you have no way to rebuild.  Russia is at risk. You have a lot of expensive gear way out East - what can you gain there? Nothing. If I take those territories, you will lose one IPC here, one there.  Look at your forces near Moscow - easy pickings for Germany. Concentrate your reserves and buy infantry.  Generally speaking - never leave units on boats. I lost my sub and bomber trying to sink your boats. Bad move on my part, but target was too tempting.  Same info goes for UK Pacific - very at risk.  Allies - can win if you focus all your power for USA on one side of board.  Dutch New Guinea is worth a 5 ipc bonus to Anzac.  Sea 16 - japs - is a blocker - your forces can’t get into Japan with that destroyer there.  Brazil is worth $$ and men to Allies - so take it with USA on turn 4 or sooner with Brits.  Don’t enter the Med with your ships - not enough gear. A lot of players load up @ Gibraltar, use it as a Rallying point and move cargo there. From that point, you can attack Normandy and reinforce UK or enter Med - in 3 turns.  You are at risk of losing a Production facility on the board.  (going to help you - not going to spell it all out).

  • Hi Grendal: If your British SUBS attack my boats along SE Asia - OOL, Order of Loss: SZ 37,38 or 39 is 1/2 to Battleship, then 1/2 to carrier, then cruiser (if present) then kill carrier. Will keep destroyer as long as possible so planes can shoot at subs.  Planes in all three sea zones can land in nearby Japanese territories.  If you attack SZ 113, 2 fighters will scramble (i doubt you will, but just letting you know ahead of time since we are opposite time zones). If your USA planes enter SZ 6, my planes all scramble.  OOL:  1/2 BS, Destroyer, Tacts, Fighter, kill Battleship.  Good luck.

Also, if there are going to be Losses - ask ahead of time for OOL: Order of Loss.  It might vary from what you would expect.  This game is a LOT of fun, so want to see you get better and keep playing.  There are NO’s National Objectives.  You might read about those.  u are really playing a good first game.   • I’ve attached the Italian turn. Also as a side note I would like to draw your attention to the transport in the Indian Ocean. It ho;ds an artillery unembarked. I have a problem with turn order and non combat movement disembarkation. I usually forget to disembark because it seems to not flow with the game mechanics. You will notice this mistake a lot with me and should capitalize on it. ‘Sink it!’ I do this unintentionally and now I am thinking that it may be a good tactic for you to divert your forces somewhere else, just like the bomber and sub You sent to the waters near Gibraltar.

    This is not intentional but I am now thinking that it could be an expensive diversion tactic.
