    It would be even better if the french convoy missed and if I walked out with more infantry.

    I am only up 2 infantry and 2 subs. That is not that big of a deal, you guys did get 9 ipc worth of bid plus a bomber.

    Plus Japan has not gone yet. What happens if Japan has a bad turn? Or UK1 goes smooth? Do we get pieces too?

    i at least seem to recall one G1 better than that against me, which was Zhukov’s in our league game. crushed paris losing only 5 units AND survived all his subs.  course he didn’t take southern france AS WELL, so yeah, i think this qualifies as better you’re right love.

    Do not have the exact statistics but 5%-10% of all games will come out like this. It happens more frequently than you think.

    Most people only notice when G1 goes real bad like losing the battle for France or a bunch of air lost, the odds for one battle to go terribly during a turn is 5-10%, which is about the same odds.

    Compared to the average results + a couple of subs is not going to break the game the same way losing a battle of France breaks the game.

    Southern france only got me +1 income. Those units would die to Italy anyway so it is not a huge issue from the big picture of things. The big picture is all that matters for the allies anyway.

    The upper 0-5% is total loss 0-6 infantry on g1, which is something you will experience about as often as losing France battle. It does happen, but the nice thing is that those infantry are in France (far away from Russia) so you do get time to make your own luck happen. Where as losing France (which happened twice in this game) has a deeper impact as it cuts into the potential for taking london over and the potential for taking Russia over as mech moves to Russia in time for an ideal attack.
