  • For the record (it’s here in writing  :-D), you’ve had your hands on two Allied capitals - one should have been taken, and one should have been taken easier - the fact that I’m in this game is pretty crazy. I’ve played solidly, but you’ve played more creatively and out of the box. I’m especially impressed with the Atlantic Germany/Italy/neutral crush combination - the buildup of air and naval power was done right under my nose, but stealthily - I felt I had Germany contained until I realized you had over 20 aircraft, and could see your long-term potential. When you put it all into action it was a bit of artistry. So my hat’s off to you. This isn’t flattery, just fact.

    And another fact is, I am still in the game, and am a very solid player. Not as crafty  :wink:, but I know what to build to stay in the game, and I understand logistics and odds. Those are my strengths. I’m looking forward to seeing if I can pull this one out, or if not, how long I can make you work to get a victory…  :evil:

  • I only saw it at the last minute - it was a scary attack of opportunity for UK… and they only had 6 aircraft in the theatre, not 28 like someone I know  :-)

    I got lucky, and should have lost another fighter.

    I’ve sudenly realized you like Axis aircraft even more than I do. I tend to buy one at a time for Japan and Germany, every round, but you go even faster…
