… leaving my carrier unprotected at Celebes was a huge mistake… I totally forgot that you can simply send a submarine to attack it so easilly.

It did not matter, since my sub could’nt hit anyway. I thought with going first and both of us with the same to hit role I could get one hit in with the Americans, then finish off with ANZAC. The real problem was not the rolling, but the out of position subs. I feel like my units have too frequently been out of position or not purchased at the right time (still learning the game).

you had an option to fight with your sub in SZ 109, but I submerged it for you. If you rather want to fight go ahead and do the fight here… there is a way to roll dice in the forum… we just need to find out how…

I screw up the battle in SZ104… I did my combat move on a train commuting to work… then when I came to my offfice and was ready to roll the dice I found that my fighter can join the battle in SZ104, so I moved him in… and then thought… that I don’t need a sub in SZ104, I can send it to SZ109 instead… my plan was that in a worst case, if your sub in SZ104 hits I would sacrifice a fighter… as the main purpose of my move was to deny US a landing in Germany…
then you rolled your hit in SZ104 and what was my desperation realizing too late that my fighter can’t take the hit and my blocking destroyer died…
I would need to redo my postcombat move in Germany… but I can’t see Europe surviving much longer after this mistake.
Or, since this is a friendly game, would you not allow me to change my submarine from SZ109 for a destryer in SZ104, pretending that I did not forget that my fighter could not take a hit from your submarine?

No problem, I will use the one you would like me to use. We are playing a game after all. Those subs just have a tough time shooting those torpedoes into the air (although in this case I wish they could). Sorry, but I don’t think I will be able to do my turn until tomorrow
