Hmmm well it doesn’t look too good for Italy then. I suppose their next best hope is the new mechanic with territories being contested… so you dribble in just enough men that your northern border is always contested and the enemy can’t advance south.

Not necissarily. Italy still has plenty of troops in the North to at least hold on for a turn and to feed into venice. On I1 just send the Rome Forces up to clear out Tuscany and boom! Line reopned in time before any germans get in the way.

I see you’re point, but eventually continued assault may prove damaging, and even game changing to the weaker Italian force. Also, I think the setup has made it clear that if AH wants, they can obliterate Italy in two turns, and turn north to double team France. This tactic, I think will be very popular.
Turn 1: Attack Venice with all available troops, and attack tuscany in whatever capacity possible. (Italy down 5 IPCs on your estimates)
Turn 2: Attack Piedmont, preparing for a crushing blow to the French (Italy Now gets max. 8 IPCs per turn. Credible Danger? No.) -
Well yes if the Austrians are able to concentrate on the Italians and nothing else then Italy is doomed. But as long as Russia is up to no good, or Britian might even go on some adventures in the Balkans. But yes, I think the so called Paris/Rome strat will end up being the best bet for the Central Powers.

Germany can wipe out the British navy easily enough but the French navy would be we situated to counter attack, not to mention it would take a lot of troops to take london, which happens to be where britian can place 30 IPC’s worth of units every turn.

can they produce in india or egypt with other words… ? -
UK can place infantry and fighters in India. As yet we don’t know how many units per turn (if there is a limit).
