I told Yasha twice not to bring the US into the war until 3. By bringing the US into the war on Turn 2, you gave me two full moves w/out restrictions before you had to. Normally US doesn’t come into war until Collect Income phase of Turn 3, which is after movement phase. So that makes the US limited in what they can do until Turn 4. Then, really can’t do anything until Turn 5. Also, SeaLion is BIG mistake. HoboSmasher and I tried that once and Russia became a monster and the Germans/Italians spent all their time trying to protect the Med and keep the UK, while Russia steam rolled! Also, you made a big mistake in scrambling in SZ97. Should have passed, then have German airforce kill the Brit navy in SZ97. Yasha made some big mistakes also.
SZ21, lost 1 Trans, 1 Inf, 1 Art to scrambling FTR. Lost FTR in SZ26 to two scrambling FTR’s. Lost Trans and DD in SZ43 to Brit BB. Lost Malaya and use of Naval base, due to Malaya counter-attack by Brits. Going to lose Trans in SZ42 to Anzac DD. Can’t lose 3 Transports and expect to make progress in Pacific. Best strategy for Japan/Axis is don’t attack US/Anzac/Dutch/UK until at least Turn 3 or later. Focus on China and attacking Russia w/Germany, Italy and Japan. Hope this helps young Padawan! Doh! Dude, I told you to read the rules like a million times! Sent the link to the new rules at least three times. I would highly recommend reading before playing another game. Much has changed from OOB to 2nd edition. The SBR rules have changed a lot as well… I would tell your teammate to read the rules on naval bases, air bases and scrambling again. J2 was not pretty! LOL!
