    After sleeping on it, I would like to redo the American move.  While my version of the Doolittle raid may produce some exciting action, I think for a first game I would like to switch to something more mundane.  However, since you have revealed a response I will leave it up to you (actually the response I expected).  Let me know what you would like to do.


  • go ahead Robert and redo your move… but please explain me what was your plan with this attack on Korea… I am really curious and I won’t find out now, when you redo it… I though I would just kill all US pacific fleet in J3 from FIC and retake Korea. Did you simply forget about my fleet at FIC or did you have some great plan I am overlooking?

    Yes I expected to lose the rest of the ships in sz 6, but when I calculated the odds on the Korea attack I accidently left out the 6 ground units from FIC (without those I hold Korea).  The plan was then to fly in the 4 US and 3 Anzac planes (and possibly build an IC) to fend off or put a big dent in the greater air force you could bring to bear on J4.  The overall idea being to save India by drawing enough stuff north (even if I could not ultimately hold Korea).  Even before I discovered the miscalculation I had concluded I was fighting too dicey a battle on your home turf.  Thanks for letting me redo the turn.
