  • So far I’m happy with the variant, but unhappy with the time it takes to do the set-up each time…

    It takes about two hours to interpret the randomized numbers and edit the map accordingly.

    There has to be a quicker way to do it, I just need to think about shortcuts.

  • Should be able to program the algorithm into unit placement… if you can find the person who made the game?  Is it open source this game?

    But from seeing 2 placements, so far it seems as if the radomisation favours the axis.  Prob not down to algorithm or luck, but to the wider geographical structure of the map and individual factions
