I went back and checked. Your luck has been other-wordly the last several turns. I hit 0-3 in W. India. 0-fer in China battles. 0-fer in Turkey. Missed 4 AA shots - you have hit maximum damage every time. It is going very much against the Axis right now…
I still beg to disagree (regarding the Axis position). The fact that I have to defend a strip along the whole stretch of Asia and don’t have access to a major IC is allowing you to pick off my minor ICs one by one. There is no place I can make a choke-point that will delay you for any length of time. I think this highlights rather well that the economics of the game are highly overrated. For one thing, if you viewed the game only in economic terms, you would never attack since the IPC boost from taking a territory usually provides a poor return on investment compared to the IPC value of the units you will lose capturing it. The Allies are also forced to spend their money inefficiently by having to buy more navy than the Axis does. Even now I have to spend too much on ships or risk even more of an Italian/Japanese revival. You’re about 3 turns away from Cairo, but once I lose Iraq the UK will be out of the game since I will then be forced to waste UK income once again on more ships.
I agree that my SBR campaign has gone better than I might have expected, but the chance of missing 4 successive AA rolls is 48%, so that isn’t very remarkable. Since I’m bombing minor ICs and have a +2 to the damage roll, I have a 50% chance of maxing out the damage on every run, which is also not so remarkable. It feels like in about half my games I get nailed by AA the very first time, so I seldom do it unless I’m A) desperate, or B) so overconfident that I don’t deem the potential loss of the bomber important.
I haven’t seen the Italy result yet you’re referring to, but if it means I held Southern France when I didn’t expect it, I’ll take it!

I have to take a break from this game. Sorry. The dice are so bad right now, that I cannot continue to play for a bit. You have had so much luck of late - this isn’t even a game between two people playing with strategies - its a total dice job that you are winning 100% of the time.
I know I complained before - and for that I am sorry. But I have had it with this game and your luck in it. The dice have been 100% one-sided most all game. We have been here before, but its time for a break. This isn’t even fun anymore, and when it reaches that point, well, you know.
If the dice were even remotely close - even heavily favored for you, that is fine. But they have been about the worst I have seen in a long time for a LONG time in this game. So - I am taking a week break from this game.

I don’t even mind bad dice - they happen. What makes this no fun is when bad dice happen over and over and over - and its all one-sided. Eggman can beat me with his ability to play alone - I cannot win against that and stupid dice. And for most of this game, that is what we have seen.
I know it is no fun for Eggman to hear me bitch about the dice either - and for that I am sorry as I said before.
