How did you move a destroyer back from Z43 after attacking and sinking my sub?

Well I hope that’s just an unusual glitch, like when a destroyer attacks a sub, because that’s disturbing.
I’m editing it back to Z43 from 36.
Do you want to change any noncoms as a result?

I don’t have the time to recreate the board post combat so just change whatever it is.
If there is a triple A bug, maybe we should submit it to Veqryn for correction? How we do that?

That’s what I thought. Actually, you probably used “shift” and it grabbed the destroyer and you didn’t notice it - all understandable.
Yes, this is an alarming bug, and Veqryn should be contacted. I think I’ll run a test on it first.
Like I said, yes, I just edited the destroyer back to the Borneo sea zone where it has to be.
Sounds like you’re saying to proceed, then, so I will -
I reloaded R6 and re-did the attack on Z43. Shockingly, when I shift-click the fighter, tac, and destroyer in Z43 it does indeed select them all and allow me to move them back to Z36, much like you did.
I will test it in another situation.

Tried Java sea zone, with destroyer having one MP left. It properly didn’t let me move it in noncom (and yes the destroyer and sub conveniently missed :-))
Perhaps it’s only when you attack subs only - will do a 3rd test.

Yes, it did it again.
I attacked the German sub in 125 with a destroyer and 5 fighters. The destroyer had spent 2 of 3 movement points. After sinking the sub, I was able to move the destroyer a 3rd space in non-combat.I’ll PM Veqryn

Good thought, but no, I’m sure it has to do with programming the engine that you can ignore subs during movement.

To be sure - you’re saying it’s fine for me to proceed and you don’t need to make any changes, right?
I’m not asking because I see some juicy target or opportunity as a result, I just want to make sure that you’re still OK with your non-coms and purchase placement, because there IS a change from the way you thought it was going to be (Destroyer in 43 instead of 36)
