Shoot - working on UK movement I see something I wish I’d done different with USA.
How do you play it? I finished China but all I did was walk in to a territory - China is almost non-existent.

Here are some thoughts I posted elsewhere.
I wish I would have thought to ask you about this before we started the game.
Thanks for the permission.Some players could legitimately look at the US/China/UK move all as one and freely allow US noncom changes when doing UK combat movement (even if China rolled dice, if their battles are not affecting the UK), but I can also see players not allowing changes once a power is complete, even if there is no opponent move in between.
Same issue with P40, when you had 4 powers in a row…
I guess we should establish the protocols before starting each game - ask your opponent if you can go back and change US noncoms during the British move, before the situation arises.
US/UK combined move is huge. It’s very difficult to foresee everything before you do it. Sometimes its difficult with a single power, like Japan. I can see frequently wanting to change buys after you start moving stuff.So are you like “Player 1”, who looks at the UK-US move as one big move, or more like “Player 2”, who doesn’t like to allow players to go back to an earlier phase (or earlier power, when no opponent move has been done in between) even when no dice have been rolled?

I had created a problem for myself with the USA noncom. Just realized I had counted spaces wrong and wasn’t going to be able to do a UK attack I had plannedLater today, then - thanks again for understanding

I am used to playing with a group of casual non-cutthroat players and if someone makes a mistake they are allowed to correct it if it didn’t involve combat.
For example, on Triple A yesterday I forgot to activate Brazil vs. a J1. The other group of players let me activate it on G2 when I noticed. Another game they forgot to move planes to Yunnan. We allowed if before the Japan attack. Etc.
This is they way it usually goes online and in person.

Thank you very much, that is generally how I play too - that makes me feel a lot better about this little change
(I need to fly the 2 USA fighters after attacking Morocco elsewhere - probably to my South American safe haven again :-D) because I need space on the carrier to land 2 critical UK fighters after attacking Gibraltar.I was thinking I’d better not assume you’d allow it before carrying out my whole UK move, because I can see how some players might be sticklers for not going back to a previous power, even if no enemy power or dice rolling came in between.
Anyway, THANKS again for the permission and explanation - that eases my concerns completely.
You can certainly expect permission from me to change things in previous phases as well, provided dice have not been rolled or as long as an enemy power has not gone in between. And even then, like most players, I would give permission if the change had no relation to the things that had happened between, but of course we all appreciate being asked if there is any doubt.
Better tell those boys in Gibraltar to head for their bunkers! Here comes the thunder! :-D
