    I’m getting the feeling that the end of this one is close, but might as well see the fall of Russia.  I think that will give you 8 cities and an official close to the game anyways.

    I think the US northern road needs alot of allied co-ordination.  Russia needs to have that base in place R1, so it’s a pretty big tip off.

    Also, I think I was wrong about the reason for it.  My move north was intended to “save” china, but maybe it would be a good way to get planes to Russia.  Back to the drawing board!

    The Far East harbor has great potential but i dunno if it was feasible in this particular game, given Germany’s ardent Barbarossa.  Russia probably can’t afford it.

    Overall I think the northern strat gave USA a great chance of catching Japan off guard, and many players would probably lose Tokyo.  But if Japan is being watchful, and you don’t get Tokyo, then its hard to win if you’re not trading the money islands and if you’re not helping UK in the Atlantic.
