    OK, there is my middle moves for the Allies.

    :? I have.  I built a CV in 109, but the game didn’t let me move the fighters from the UK to the boat.  Did I have to do this in NCM or does the AAA engine just not allow it?  I used Edit to fill by carrier, so if that is no longer then go ahead and reverse it.

    You can do all the edits you want, as long as they are non-combat edits.  Yes, the game engine wants you to move the fighters in ncm.  It will warn you that the fighters will die if you aren’t placing a carrier in that zone.

    Re the naval base, I just didn’t see it at first so I needed to move my forces out of the Shanghai area, hence the edit.

    well, if nothing else I have a clear idea that my UK Pacific / ANZAK play sucks.

    The Pacific side of the board is the most complex and where one benefits from experience most.

    I usually go south with the USA and use Anzac for naval support and for transports and men.

    With India there were opportunities for Japan to kill off the India piecemeal on J2-J3.  Normally I’m more concerned with taking China and the islands first,  but given the opportunity I put off taking the islands till the 4th round and concentrated on destroying UK Pacific.

    One more tip re your bombing runs….focus on Western Germany.  Germany won’t fix those French factories but Allies might have to later.
