when can we expect a trajan move?
Wow… interesting game.
I am struggling a bit to see what the allied plan for victory is. Other than their plan for sheer survival…
But I’m all ears?

Wow… interesting game.
I am struggling a bit to see what the allied plan for victory is. Other than their plan for sheer survival…
But I’m all ears?
The allies do not win in global until they conquer Germany, Italy, and Japan. Both sides are playing the income war right now. I am sure the Axis will go for the VC win eventually.
I think if Russia’s income can grow beyond that of Germany’s then in the long run, maybe taking Germany becomes an option.
I am curious if UK will load USA’s transports with men on one turn then offload the next. Storming the beaches seems like a good idea now that Spain and Portugal are options.
I am curious if Japan can do a pacific win thing… maybe Japan pushes for the VC thing then the Atlantic ships hurry over and stop it.
Who knows where this game will go.
“tell you what Cow. here’s my offer to you - for our game, we will offer you the allies +20 (1 unit per territory) on the current map of our ancients game - R11. you can take over from there and we will play it out instead of starting a new game. sound good?”
good news ancients! cow has agreed to take your allies from R11 with an ADDITIONAL 20 ipc of units, rather than start a new game from scratch IF we advance to play him. so thats great because if we beat you, he will later show you how you could have won (if you’d had a few more units of course).
cheers
Yeah I would get USA 2 fighters. Try to sink your germany fleet with 50% odds. Then I would take Germany with 69% odds.
I would do that.
That is a brilliant idea bold. Quick game. I like it.
Yeps I don’t have to fight those subs to smack Germany. Your 20 ipc bid is perfect for me, I love it, it is brilliant. Odds improve to 80% with bship bombardment which is totally worth it for taking Berlin.
I don’t even have to win the battle with USA air, 2 carrier 4 dd should beat 3 fighters to take denmark. 10 air should clear out the naval (I don’t have to clear out the fighters, just the destroyers/carriers).
Shazam. OK we can flip a coin to see who wins. I am cool with that.
You see how fast I came up with a way to exploit you? You give me a good chance to take Germany? Is you crazy?
as usual you’re wrong. and the challenge still stands.
How am I wrong?
USA gets 2 fighters, 1 on uk, 1 on his carrier. I attack your naval with 10 fighters, you scramble 3 fighters 50/50 battle. USA takes denmark with 1-3 ground units, attacks the sea zone with 4 dd 2 carrier. On UK’s turn the naval moves 3 spaces to attack Germany with 1 inf 1 arty 3 fighters and a bombardment.
I will do that. You will lose. Then you will cry about dice.
Challenge accepted.
i guess you’re right, there is a much better chance of you beating us that way than there is for you to beat us in a game from scratch. still the chance is only .5 * .8 = 40% and even if you take berlin, you would still lose.
Unlike you, I do not sweat 40% when a capital city is involved, I just do it.
taking berlin would not give you the victory cow, that’s what your ridiculously stupid mind doesn’t understand. geez do i have to spell it out for you?
you already accepted the challenge so that’s set in stone. i’m sure garg will be happy to allow it.
what you apparently have no concept of Cow, is that victory is imminent in EITHER theater. you would have to take down BOTH tokyo AND berlin to beat us. i’m glad you already accepted the challenge though. maybe you can make it out of the XTRA death bracket and get one more shot to beat us 2 times in a row. if so, i will allow you to use one or BOTH of those attempts by taking the allies at +20 after R11 on this board.
I have attacked capitals with worse odds than that. True it would not give me a victory. It would totally screw Europe up. Then I can have UK push for India so I can stop you from winning there.
If germany lost it’s capital, it might not even survive against Russia taking it several rounds later. So it would just be on you to win in the Pacific.
well, you will get one shot to try it in the championship of the winners bracket. then you can have one OR two more shots at it IF you are able to beat Atlanta Axis a second time…
