    I kind of like having a country more than the UK having Egypt. LOL.

    Damn that last Germany turn surprised me. Trading in 51 units for 38… brutal. You lost your cannon fodder is all, you can still make another go at Russia in rounds to come. We have not fully set up the fighter choo choo train to Russia yet.

    That is how these 100+ unit battles go. One hot streak of dice and all of a sudden someone is screwed.

    This is why I never surrender until I see the big battles!

    @rpg and jeff,
    I personally do not understand the attack you just did on Russia.  My personal feeling is that you guys are winning in that theater, and on the europe board too. 
    9 tanks and 2 bombers purchase and you’d be set for next round.  Or you could delay that by a turn and do the arty push again to have even better odds.
    With all our air having to fly in, lots of other possibilities would open up for you, such as killing our atlantic fleets and/or attempting a sea lion of sorts.

    We left you with a roughly 50% battle since that is as high as we could go without you attacking us (we thought).  Your odds were actually 43% on that, though it could have been 49% or 57% if Italy killed 1 or 2 guys instead of taking Caucasus.
    The only time I would have done that attack is with Low Luck.

    The point was to take a chance on winning the game, the odds were in the 40s but the AV/DV were very close so we figured there were 3 outcomes - 1st round goes our way and we press the attack and take Russia which you can’t get back and force you to try and take Egypt/ 1st round is roughly even and we pull back and reload but have wiped out the AA guns for the following turn when we have more air coming/ 1st round goes against us and we’re screwed but we figure we’d be screwed anyway if we attacked the following round and the 1st round went against us.

    Had Japan not been in horrible shape we would have waited.

    and what order of losses (i would assume pro-defense all the way)

    and lastly, what targets for your 6 kamikaze tokens?

    i am attacking with everything: 9 fighters, 3 destroyers, 3 carriers

    Veqryn you do have to state your buy at least along with other attacks.

    Like Iwo Jima, which you should take. Taking islands is going to cost you a transport, you going to have to take the dollar islands someday, we got 4 boats between usa + anzac and 4 islands. I see no reason not to do it.
