ya, i’ve found that 90% just isn’t good enough in a dice game… you really need to push it to 96% or higher, and even then be prepared for the occasional forced retreat I will never do a 90% attack again

given the option between no attack and a 90% attack, i do the 90%. but if you can add 1 more dude to make it 99% or something, in dice, i am finding it is nicer to do it than to wish you had of
 imo

That’s why I like dice game, they make you less careless (no 100% outcome means you have to take extra caution in your attacks) I do actually like dice games for “that” component. Be more careful, have backup plans, send extra troops to each battle or be ready for the consequences of failure. But I still overwhelmingly dislike dice for the bullshit results it sometimes spits out. I just had a battle in my 270bc game where my armada of triremes managed to get 0 hits, while my enemy got ‘all but one’ hitting. That kind of stuff, which seems to happen at least once per match to someone, is why I personally avoid playing dice whenever I can get away with it. (even when it is in my favor i still dislike it, cus I want to know that I won the game, not the dice won the game for me…) anyway… nothing to see here… carry on…

I concede, I don’t like this map, and I really don’t like dice. Good luck in coming games!
