––Will you be making the American “4-Piper” Destroyers? I truly hope so as they were quite distinctive,…all the way up through WWII.
----I’d really “jump for joy” if you did because that would allow me to modify some into the APD’s that were re-built in WWII specifically to transport the US Marine Raiders.

No release date has been set. Deliberately and expect the announcement in 4 months for a fall release ( if not sooner)

Pieces look amazing! Cant wait to get my hands on this game.

I do have a couple of questions though. If you are not allowed to disclose this information, no worries, I understand. But please keep us posted if you can.

Compared to A&A games that are out now, what is the complexity of the game.

Any hint on colours for the nations? I’m assuming grey for Germany, blue for France, green for America. Hopefully Russia is not a shade of brown or red. White would be best, as ottomans should be red. Austria-Hungary should be yellow or black. Uk and Italy should be same as A&A tan and brown respectively.

Ottomans are a reddish color
Russia will be a sorta light brown
Italy is a light green

The shortest route is 2 spaces: Alsace Lorraine is between them ( German control).

If you go thru only French areas the count is 3

Hopefully yes. The producer has to make that decision and i advocate that he does that.

Are the infantry early war, late war or a mix?  My guess is you chose the “most iconic” for each nation, but it’d be nice to have both early and late (steel helmets) types for different units.

You’ve said there’s an air supremacy phase before general combat; I like the idea but doesn’t that too often lead to a plane vs plane combat where they simply shoot each other out of the sky?

I yet hope to persuade you that the tanks need to be 4-1 in combat…

And that Turkey should have no factories, because, er, it had no factories.

I appreciate the number of sculpts being made, but is there any scope for extra unit types later, such as observation balloons and reconnaissance planes.

I hate to be this guy IL, but are you planning on producing sculpts in different colors for individual sale? I’ve been following the “official” WW1 game and I’ve been very excited about it, but I’ve been less than impressed with the variety and quality of the unit sculpts.

I do, however, like the map and the mechanics Larry Harris came up with, so I’m hoping someone at some point will come up with additional sculpts for it.

I guess I’ll just wait and see as you release more info, there’s no one saying I can’t buy two WW1 games!  :-D
