I play an Ad-Hoc version of the game using a global map (Deaths Head Map in the “Variants” thread) and rules version I compiled under “Minor Axis and Allies Powers” in the “House Rules” thread. This version incorporates Minor Axis and Allied power into gameply and pulls rules ideas from many other areas of this site. Dog Fighting was one of those rules that appeared in AAHE….just wanted to make sure I’m interpreting this rule properly…
Question about spaces used by a transport during an amphibious assault
-
I think I can better explain this question in situation form: for example, can a loaded transport move through 2 uncontested sea spaces till it’s adjacent to it’s target territory and then proceed to unload it’s troops to attack it? Or is that illegal because it counts as 3 transport moves?
Like to sum it up, does the actual unloading onto amphibious assault territory count as a one of the transports two moves or not?
Thanks!

Jaxrealm,
The simplest way to think of the amount of sea zones moved is:
How many different NEW sea zones has the transport been in.
starting sea zone no movement point
1st NEW sea zone 1st movement point
2nd NEW sea zone 2nd movement pointIf your transport can can only move 2 sea zones, then the 2nd sea zone is as far as it can move and therefor must be the one that your amphibious attack assaults. Either an island or coastline in THAT sea zone.
I hope this helps you. This is a GREAT GAME! And we all have questions sometimes so don’t be shy about asking for help.

Are you meaning the pic of my Dad on the left? He’s not only still alive but works everyday and plays A&A G-40 with us almost every week-end.
