    I’ll need to find a way to down some of these planes somehow. Still grinding Japan down, but not fast enough for my taste (shooting down one of the bombers over the 4 bombing raids conducted so far would have been nice).


  • I never get to play the Axis. I hate dancing around those things when I’m the Allies. It’s nice to play with them as the Axis for once.  :-D

    They are able to be what somebody (Garg, maybe?) calls a “shadow force”. They’re in one spot, but they multiply your force in several possible locations; they might be headed to one location in my mind, but the opponent has to plan that they can turn up where he wants to be, too. They’re an initiative-robber.

    Absolutely. I like to use this tactic by leaving several loaded transports in Gibraltar, as you can see.  :-D

    I’m now placing my hopes in 4 british, 4 american and 1 russian subs in the Med (all of them will be on station for I6 and G7) to grind down Italy and Germany further. That’s the first time I build subs on such a large scale in the European theater. Time will tell if this is worth it or not. :-D
