Rough idea of a global map, based on one of my old WWII creations:

Germany has taken over Western Europe including Britain. Spain throws in its lot with Germany in return for Morocco. Ireland is united under German rule. Russia has driven Germany back to the starting positions of 1941, but has been attacked in the far East by Japan, which has completed the conquest of China and Australia.

A remnant of the British Empire survives around the periphery of the Indian Ocean

They are still waiting on the plastic game pieces. From what I understand, they were finished at the Chinese factory and shipped to the US. The problem now is the dock worker problems with strikes and such. Once the union and management can come to some agreement, then our stuff will finally get trucked to HBG and they can put our games together and ship them to us.

Hey Everybody,
I got my first pieces for the AMERIKA game. I haven’t gotten my games yet but I’m sure they will be here any day now. The HBG crew have a LOT of work packaging all of this stuff for all the backers. I got my Expansion pieces and the reinforcements for the Allies though and I must say they are really cool.
Great detail, but of course we’re used to that from HBG by now. First is a pic of the German expansion pieces.
Second pic is of the Allied and Japanese expansion pieces.

By the way, in case some of you didn’t know this, the M-6 Medium Tank in the Allied Expansion pieces was actually conceived in 1942 for use as a heavy tank by the US Army and a couple of prototypes were actually built. However, they decided that the M-4 Sherman tank was adequate for the Army’s needs and the M-6 simply was not needed so it was discontinued.
I saw a model kit for this tank in a military magazine and was half tempted to order it for the novelty.

A couple of more pics for everyone.
First the Allied regular game pieces.
Second is the King Tiger next to the Tiger 1 from the first German set. I think the scale is near perfect.
It occurs to me that some of these expansion pieces are probably more for working into the various Global games (G40, G39, G36) than for AMERIKA. After all, while the King Tiger tank was a boost up in heavy tanks during WW2, it would kind of be a step down from the heavy tanks available in the AMERIKA scenario. Also, the Jet Seaplane probably doesn’t have a lot of use since this is mostly a land-based game.
Of course, maybe I am just not using enough imagination. I imagine any of us can use these pieces any way we please.
I will probably share more pics when I get the rest of my stuff.

After all kick starter pledges get their games, they will go on sale sometime later, but not till all kick starter, as well as pre-orders, are filled. :-)

Hey Everybody!
I got my games this week. I’ve spent the last couple of days checking everything out. Lots of cool stuff here. Of course I have pics to share with you all. Check it out.
First is the box. The cardboard surface of the box and inner components are very high quality and professional looking. Comparable to the Axis & Allies 50th Anniversary game. Very nice.

I tried earlier to attach 2 pics to this post but kept getting an error message so I will try one at a time. It will take a lot of posts but I guess that’s okay.

Here is with the box open showing the parts boxes. They fit a little tight at first but I think over time and use they will loosen up some. At least you don’t spill all your parts.
At either end of the box are simple spacers to keep everything in place.
