    i was sincere when i said it was a friendly reminder. i just want everyone to be aware of the deadline so no one is upset if their game has to go to decision. it was not a hurry up warning, i sent the same message to all 7 games left in round 3 of the tournament, even the game in round 19. i did change the wording and offered suggestions to the one game still on uks 2nd turn, that one you could call a friendly hurry up warning.

    which means he has ALL of the rest of this round, AND all of next round, to capture 1 VC

    and if we trade the VC (like UK takes egypt, then Italy takes it right back) then the clock resets and we have to go another round after that

    i’m a little sad i won’t get to see what usa can do with korea, etc,
    kinda makes me feel like this game needs Alpha +4 (the edition where it becomes fun to play allies)

    if you want to continue, i’d be interested
    but i totally understand if you have other things to allocate time to than continuing a lost game


  • Sorry, it’s the holiday season and a bit too busy.

    I’m convinced that the bids are currently much too low and any effort for a bid enough to prevent Sea Lion from the get go is simply brinksmanship; or just knowing that your opponent doesn’t really want to play Allies.

    A larger UK navy could likely fix the game.

    i think sealion is fun and should be part of the game

    i feel that any bids should go to either russia or usa, or else they will affect the intent of the game too much

    i’d hate to see bids forcing players into specific “best and only best” strategy
