Your g1 opener is not effected. So as soon as they get confirmation to the egypt inf. They will give us scramble orders.

all round 3 games i have pmed opponents letting them know who their opponent was and to use the most updated rules and gargs bomber in moscow.

I assume so. That’s what I deduced from AWNIL’s slightly vague PM. I PM’d him back just for clarification.

But, I’d like you to hold off on making a move since with the loss of 1 inf in Egypt and, to a lesser extent, the Korea thing I’m not sure if a Russian bomber really balances the game. I may want to bid at least a few PU’s to the Allies.

you do not have to bid down. in fact bidding up makes more sense and is used in Origins, GEN CON, and Spring Gathering tournaments.

i find negative bids weird. makes more sense just to bid for the other alliance.

I think you are overestimating the usefulness of that bomber. But, if you want to give us the Axis and 3 bid PU’s, we’ll take the Axis if our partners agree to it.

I’d take a russian bomber over a british inf anyday. Stops germany from holding baltic states round 2. So good.

That’s not the point. I typically take a 6+ PU bid in Alpha 3 and build a UK sub in sz91 for counterattack possibilities against exposed German navy or as an added threat to the Italian navy. The bomber doesn’t make up for that in my opinion. If you don’t want to go for my suggestion that you give us the Axis+3, I’ll go for trading the bomber for a 12 PU Allied bid. What do you say?

You said in an earlier post that you were willing to go a low as Allies-5. Axis+3 is pretty much the same thing since a negative bid is usually prohibited in most tournaments.
