Heres the story…
George Lucas you see, somehow came into possession of the ownership to the rights to the third book of the Lord of the Rings, the Return of the King. After a legal battle (which was confidential and actually took place years ago), he attained some production influence. And of course, he sliped in his own character, which will replace Gimili as the comic relief character, and to help push sales of action figures and such.

Yeah I was kinda thinking it was bs, but overall I believed it (lol also, when I saw The Fellowship Of The Ring for the first time, I thought it was just gonna keep going, because that’s what it seemed like. I thought it was gonna go for 9 straight hours, putting each movie in the trilogy in order and play them all right there!) :lol:
