it is almost certain you will not have a vc winner by the end of the round. your game does look fairly even.
the good news is if you check the xdap bracket the winner of this game faces a dropped out team. assuming no other team drops from the tournament this round(the tournament pairs up dropped out teams to minimze the byes in the tournament) then you guys have an extra 2 months to finish your game.
i would keep playing as fast as you guys can until the deadline just incase a team drops out, but more than likely your teams will be given an extra 2 months.
Would it be possibel for you guys to have a turn ready for us before tomorrow so we can have a look and may be able to give Italy a shot in the old year?

…well, here’s our Combatmove. Can you give us the OOL in the seabattle (do you want to keep a Carrier intact)? You can also make conditions like “if Italy makes at least 5 hits in the first round then kill our Carrier” or “if we make more hits than Italy we’ll keep one USA-Carrier”.

I just noticed we should have gotten the 5 ICP for having no allied surface warships in the med. I think I read in the manual that transports don’t count as warships. It seems triplea doesn’t acknowledge it like that. I think I’m going to write a PN to Veqryn and find out if this is intentional. I’ll come back to you once I have an answer.
So Veqrin says that Italy should have gotten the NO. Apparently the UK inf in the seazone cause it to bug. Here’s a copy of the PM from him:

So I would like to edit in those 5 ICP extra for Italy. If you’d rather have kept the BB to prevent the NO until next round let us know. Though it’s a similar situation than the one before where you had to decide it before you saw you own defending dice succes in round 2 so it would probably be more consistent if we kept to your original OOL.

Hmm… You could have hit maybe one unit more and we could have hit one or 2 less. Germany would still be able to finish the job not just so cheaply and you could have a slightly better chance to sink our fleet but it wouldn’t be cheap for you too I think. You can do ANZAC and France we’ll edit in the ICP during Germanys turn since it doesn’t matter when we do it as long as it is boefore Italys next turn. You can edit it in too though if you like.
Okay I got impatient and edited it in here’s the save with the change
I had done the batle calculator (like you, I assume :-) ), and I had, on average 1.5 more unit left than the attacker + 3 TRN (meaning losing ALL units for Italy). Instead, you get away with 4 units (and an undammaged AC, so it’s like 5 units). That’s tough luck!
