His Majesty’s government intends to continue pursuing the war against the French Republic in the hope of restoring the Bourbon monarchy eventually.  Since Hanover has been freed, a cease fire with Austria will be offered.  Current policies with Russia and Turkey will be maintained.

Lord Nelson reported that the resumption of gunnery practice has improved the efficiency of the fleet and that further engagements with the French fleet should continue to see improved results.  However, there seems to have been a drop in employment in London, many workers in the gin distilleries have had their overtime hours cut back.
