If nobody fights them or worst, they even aid them against 1 of the weak players (russia or the ottomans), as Russia is their favorite target and France is keeping UK at bay, this means tbat just one victory cities from Russia and 2 from neutral Swede will grant them a fast victory, that you will not be able to stop.
So I fail to understand what’s the gain of the other nations other by being manipulated by the strongest player.

I was unable to change political status between Austria and UK. You can test the France turn 2 save and see it yourself.
Maybe the game rules say that one must be one full turn in war after the declaration of war has been made. There is something regarding that in game notes.
