Evening Herr KaLeun. I too have always been surprised that this charge was the last large scale one, but it is how I remember it.
Just to be sure, I did google last British cavalry charge and found and read of the one you mention about an hour ago!
They “construed” attacks on terrible tournament design, as personal since they designed it.
That’s not my problem. Read my words again carefully. And the first stone was cast when it was suggested, AA players weren’t competent enough to caluclate NO’s at the end of their turn, or that they can’t be trusted to use tech or play the 41 setup.
As the natural champion of “the people” around here… I jumped to your defence. You’re welcome GHR2. :)
How did you interperet any of that as an attack on the people? Are you seriously assuming that all brand new players know all the NO’s for every country and knows how every single tech works and how to roll with them? Because a significant amount of people who go to gaming conventions are people who walk around and try out new games. So it is logical that for some tournament hosters might want to make things as simple as possible so that new players are less than intimidated and that the game runs faster.
Time has given us a better view of this question. Who is better between Matt Ryan or Matthew Stafford?
They are both as good as the team around them. In other words, they can’t carry a bad team all on their own, but they will help more than hurt a good team that surrounds them.
lots of Americans are over weight fat asses who follow what Bush says blindly and think the War in Iraq is some Holy Crusade that can do no wrong.
Hey, I may be an ass, but I’m not overweight. :) As far as Bush, and the Presidency in general, as well as other elected representatives, even though I may or may not agree with them, I try to believe that they know what they’re doing…after all, they’re more educated and experienced than I, however questionably said education may have been obtained. The war, as far as I’m concerned, it’s just finishing up what wasn’t done 12 years ago.
