OK, the league playoffs are set to begin this weekend, and I’m not sure who all is here and ready to play.
It will help Jennifer and I tremendously if you would now signify that you are here and that you are wanting to play in the playoffs.  This is applicable for all who have signed up for the additional playoffs, and to the 8 who qualify for the league playoff for the championship.

Please reply to this thread if you are on the following list.  Also, it is not too late to sign up for the additional league playoffs.  Reply whether you are playing in the playoffs or not - please reply either way.  Thank you -

All above is tentative.  League year isn’t completely over, after all.  For each player who doesn’t show up or isn’t interested, everyone else below them will move up a slot.  I.E. Cow is in the league playoff if any of the top 8 don’t enter.

Infra, if you can get Bold or bmnielsen to agree to let you in, then I’m fine with it - you can play one of them.
I was wondering where you were, but could only wait so long.  We did have players signed up who then didn’t show, so I couldn’t just assume people were in - I needed to get brackets done.

bold is on a 1 week vacation right now, but you would probably get a response from him within days.

Do me a favor, when you win your playoff game and report it on the league reporting thread, can you also PM me?  We’re in the busy season here in Geek Squad (cute leather jacket, btw!) and I’m paranoid as heck I’ll miss a report of game completion and tie everyone up!

Karl, you are the big fish.  You are the #1 seed and have a bye.  You need to wait for the winner of Degrasse and Variance.  Do me a favor and see if they’ve started their game…  :-)

He just means the bonus playoff brackets, for us losers who didn’t qualify for the real playoffs :) So just put him in instead of my bye.

Some very unlucky battles for the UK on Europe map, small battles with few but consequential rolls.

According to bracket, the winner of Gamerman01 vs Wheatbeer will play the semifinals with me.

It will probably be a few weeks or more til we are done - looks like yours didn’t even go 3 rounds, so….

But knowing you are done, I will put a little extra effort into keeping our game moving.  We don’t have to worry about Wheatbeer holding up his end
But I just finished J2 last night so we probably have a ways to go.  Wheat’s bringing his A game

I will bring my idea about playoff finals, in this case final  only.

I suggest as i said earlier that the final game should be played in two matches at the same time.

So the finalists play one game as axis and allies in the same time. If it finishes 1-1 then they play a third one.

This how we can see how do they manage in both rolls and we see one more interesting game, probably two.And the best thing it wont cost us much time.

I don’t mind, Amon.  The only issue I would have is being as we are in the playoffs already it is really too late to spring changes on the players.

If we have agreement from the two finalists, I’m all for it.
