was this random or seeded? hank and awn are old friends, i would think they should not have to play first round.

Seeding would not be right in this, since the original qualification of win % doesn’t necessarily match rankings according to Gamer’s standings. So a completely random draw is best here.

You can name your game threads 13P instead of 13L so we can easily see it’s a playoff game.12 participants, so I did 2 brackets of 8 where 1 and 2 seeds have byes.

Seeding done by PPG at end of league year.Bidding can be arranged between the two players. If you can’t agree who will make the first bid, just roll for it.
I will be the primary moderator for these two playoffs, so any game disputes that you can’t work out between the two of you should go to me first.You may begin your games when ready

Well, there is another possibility…
If one of the players who signed up but didn’t confirm the past 3-4 days shows up really soon and says hey I wanted to be in the tournament, with your permission we may put them in the bye spot.

If one of the players who signed up but didn’t confirm the past 3-4 days shows up really soon and says hey I wanted to be in the tournament, with your permission we may put them in the bye spot.
Yeah, that would be perfectly fine to me.
Just quickly chatted with Bold. He and I would be ok to swap positions in the bracket, so he gets the bye and I get a match in the first round of the play offs. I guess unknownsoldier has to confirm that but I would be happy about it. I only have 1 game running so far, so would perfectly be fine to me.

i will be largely out of action for the next week (vacation) so it works better in that regard as well.

Well, I guess I’m going to get that break a little sooner than planned. I’m pretty sure my life long record against AWN is around 2-99 and 1 of those wins was because I put the game away before we could finish! - by the way is that an option here?

Just like a normal game, whoever wants to go first in bidding may do so.
Bold, it was as random as I could make it. I didn’t take anything into consideration standing wise, past engagement wise, etc.
Post in league, just put something like:
13L Playoffs Cow (Allies) vs Alexgreat (Axis) +327 bid
for the title (oh, and if you let him have a 327 bid, you must PM me so I can giggle quietly as I watch!)
