    so according to the dice server it looks like i hit 3 planes on the initial AA gun firing but then the AA guns were re-rolled and i only hit once, what happened??

    Yeah, sorry. In the first battle as I attacked, there was no scramble option, no Bombardment option, and somehow the ground units weren’t even involved even though I had moved them in, so I had to re-start the game and do over.

    You can see that only my air units fired on attack in the first round combat (no land units) and there was no bombardment even though I had moved my CC and BB was already in place to provide bombardment.

    I re-did the battle, and lost 1 air unit in the attack.

    I don’t mind if you want me to re-do again - or if you want I can remove two planes as well?

    Open to suggestions how to handle it…

    you are generally going to win that combat anyway so i don’t dispute the result but i should get credit for the AA hits and also the units those planes hit during 1st and 2nd combat rounds would get to fire in later rounds.  I think the fair thing is we edit off whichever 2 planes you choose to lose and we take off 2 ground units to represent hits that the extra units would have gotten had they not been taken off in round 1 and round 2 by planes that should have been dead.  If you’re OK with that let me know which losses you want and i’ll edit.

    That’s a fair compromise. I wasn’t trying to pull the wool over your eyes for this - I don’t take it that seriously TBH - it was simply that since the battle wasn’t technically “real” as my land units weren’t involved and because of the bug for not allowing Bombardments, I figured it could just be a do-over. Same chance the second time regarding AA shots…

    You can edit out 2 planes and 2 tanks.

    didn’t mean to accuse, hard to convey meaning over “e-mail” a lot of times.  the game can be glitchy sometimes, in my case i know a couple times i have forgotten to unload troops for a landing and had to re-do.  I like the online version because you can play global so much easier than playing it on a  board (our wargame club plays all day and we never finish a game) but i find that i make mistakes and oversights i would never make if i was looking at the actual pieces.
