Yeah but its an illegal move. You didnt control the strait and certainly not at beginning of Italian turn. You cant move a sub through the strait.
Attacking z91 with russian sub. Scored a hit 1st round and need casualty choice, 2 cvs or 1 cruiser remain.
i thought subs could move through without controlling the straight, i will look into this right now.
yeah subs from any power can cross the straight of gib regardless of what power controls gib
-
we will lose the italian sub of course
-
nice foresight by dutch to put it there… now i hope we
were able to get a hit from the 2 acc, cru? -

KS, it’s a legal move, an obscure legal move I concede. Subs, and only subs, can pass throught the straight if Gibtalter even if another power controls Gib. Also, subs can noncom into sea zones that have enemy naval boats, but if there is a dd present, they have to stop in that same zone and cannot move past. I also ran the Italian turn in local and it allows the same move (not that that is definitive proof of anything, Veqryn makes mistakes sometimes).
-
I confirmed by looking at the rules. Definitely can be done.

ÂOuch. That was not cool for ya. Total screw job there. But, very solid brass ballsy.
-
If you want to take back the z91 attack since you didn’t know the italian sub could legally be there it’s fine with me.

Need a intercept decision in India.
2 bombers and a fighter v 2 fighters and a tach.
They all roll at a 1 and the attacker can hit the defenders too. I can choose the first hit to go to the fighter.
So, they odds are 50-50 that you get at least 1 hit, killing the fighter. I have 50-50 to kill one of the Brit planes.
After the intercept, the bombers have to face the aa fire.

-
Nice.
-
Adjusted Burma - Phil battles. Didn’t adjust India.
-
actually, only the ftrs can intercept, not tac bombers. And they roll at a 2, attacker rolls at a 1 for bombers and ftrs.
no intercept.
-
I don’t think I’ll ever figure out the right rules on the interceptors…
-
Well, triplea does only allow the fighters to intercept, but they do roll at a “1”. Just ran it in local.
-
Only fighters can intercept, that is true. Interceptors, escorts, and bombers all have one round of combat where they roll at a ‘1’.

A strategic or tactical bombing raid is a direct attack on a facility. During this step, you can bomb enemy industrial complexes, air bases, and naval bases with your strategic bombers. You can also bomb enemy air and naval bases with your tactical bombers. When you damage these facilities, their capabilities are decreased or eliminated, and your enemy must spend IPCs to repair them in order to restore those capabilities. Repairs can be made by the units controlling player during his or her Purchase & Repair Units phase.Air Battle.
All escorts and bombers (Strategic & Tactical) fires @ 1
Jets fires @ 2Generated casualties are placed behind the casualty line and will return fire before being eliminated.
Interceptors. fires @ 1
Jet interceptors fires @ 2All casualties, both sides, are removed.
