I’m really really tempted to try to kill that fleet in sz36. I can bring 4 ftr, 2ca, bb, and cv against 2ftr, 2tac, 2cv, & bb. It’s almost a straight up 50/50 battle with a slight edge to the Dutch. Let me mull this over some and try PMing my compatriot with some options. I think I’ll pass, but the lure is there! I don’t know if you’re testing me or what, but I wouldn’t be considering this if you had another piece in there. Or maybe you didn’t realize I could bring the 2 air from sz54 and figured it was safe enough against what was in sz33?

But alas, the IJN has another fleet in reserve and that USN fleet represents the bulk of allied ships in the pacific. If someone hadn’t had their capital sacked maybe US could build more in the pac. :wink:

Ah cool, he’s your brother. Very nice. I’m trying to get my dad into A&A, he’s into strategy board games like Fortress America, Feudal, Risk, and the like. I grew up playing those games with(mainly against) him. So I can thank him for getting me involved early and ultimately sparking my love of board games in general.
He and I played our first game of A&A together while I was a freshman in high school. Sadly my friend with the game moved before we had a chance to play again. I didn’t played A&A again for quite awhile until later in high school when I discovered online A&A gaming. He hasn’t played since and I’ve been out of the state for awhile, so we could never play head to head. Now that we’re living in the same state again, I want to change that.
