of course it is TG. That’s like saying “Moby Dick” is predictible, or “Twelth Night”, or just about any ground breaking novel that has since become a cliche, especially one that is so allegorical and insightful.
The earliest commedians to point out the male/female remote dichotomy were recognised as brilliant. Those who do today are hacks.
