  • Dutch has the right of it.  Let’s put together a bid–the only bidding rules you need to know:  you have to mobilize in a territory or sz that contains units already and if mobilized in a territory, it must belong to the country controlling it or, if it’s a friendly sz, the power getting the units must already have units in that sz.


  • OK to the bidding rules. In addition we suggest that IPC’s also can be given to a power (for example a bid of 4 could be used to 1 INF in Moscow and 1 IPC to US)

    Sorry, Ghostglider, you have it a little backwards.  I know you guys are big time DAAK.de players, so I know it’s a little difficult to get the differences on A&A.org sorted out (personally, I like the blind bid and placement system better that they use on DAAK.  BigBadGoo and I are teammates on the AA50 2v2 Tourny on there right now).  Here it is your side that offers a bid for what your team will play the Allies for.

    Example:  “We will take the Allies with a bid of 12”.

    Then the other side says “Take em at 12. Where do you want them?”  OR they say “We’ll take the Allies with a bid of 11”.  Then you guys say “Go ahead and take em at 11, how do you want to spend your 11?” OR “We bid 10”.

  • I might have messed up entirely.  I am not sure–still new to Global.  Tell me which map mod I need to DL–I will take all rolls and moves (as they were generally poor for the axis and it would be unfair to change otherwise).  Things SEEMED different but I am not sure.  I spent a good hour or so trying to figure out if I was doing it right.
