99% sure open communication is allowed. The extent to which it’s allowed is up to you, though. With my play-group we cut it off at “talk of general strategy is allowed, anything more specific is not.” We do it this way because of bad experiences where multi-player games would devolve into the “good” Axis Player and the “good” Allies Player forcing their teammates to obey their orders on what to do each turn, effectively turning the game into a 1v1 with a peanut gallery. That’s not much fun for anyone.
Need answer on unloading quick please– in game

If Germany only has submarines in 109, can UK unload there during noncombat move in Alpha 3? These sub rules always confuse me, especially between versions.

Yes. An escort is required only when doing an amphibious assault.

Man, the rules help on this site is really top notch! Thanks!

Krieghund is always there for us when he can be. He is also a close friend and co-worker of Larry Harris himself and was integral to the development of the games. So you’re getting answers from as close to the source as possible. We’re glad to have him around.

I wish I read this before my game today because as the allies, we had the exact same situation, and we assumed that the transport couldn’t unload. We won the game anyways, but its always good to learn the right way to play… thanks K.

It’s amazing how after literally HUNDREDS of Axis and Allies games played, how people like myself and others, can still discover new/correct rules and situations on a regular basis LOL…
I guess the game is just that deep? There’s alot to it.
A degree in Axis and Alliesology just isn’t enough I guess.

Garg, I think you should petition government for a degree course on A&A. I would cross the Atlantic and sign up. I need an excuse to visit North America.
