Glass half-full(maybe a quarter full):  I have seen games where Germany didn’t take Paris.  That is quite the debacle and certainly worth resigning over.  I always house Paris with everything and leave W France and S France alone, so as to not take any chance there.

Again,ugh, it puts a pall on whole the game. Damn dicey.  Was really looking forward to a fair match.  Let’s see what happens on the next couple rounds.

Okay, i have calmed down from that horrible G1.
I’ll concede the game and won’t waste your time.
Being down one full round of IPCs worth of material from the start is too much. I would have played it against an unknown player, but since i’ve pegged you easily as one of the 5-6 best players of this site, i’m having a very hard time convincing myself that i would be able to make up for those heavy G1 losses with “superior” play.

I am very disapointed. I was happy to have the chance to play one of the best players in here and having to concede after one round is very frustrating.

I’ll be very busy until august 20, but after that, if you have some time for that, i’d really like to play a game with you. Can be league or recreational game. With Triple A if you wish.

Well, thank you for the high compliment.  Although, I am still learning G40, so I dont think I have earned any praise in that regard as yet.  I played one live on the Triplea server over the weekend and got housed, so I am still trying to figure it out.

Let’s do this, next week lets start the game again on the open forum (I’m not doing any league this year), let’s use the same set up and purchase and start fresh with the combat moves for G1 and we can see how it plays out.
