I’d like to cancel Open Borders with Austria and Russia and then offer Open Borders to them again, that should reset the two turn time limit right?
Actually I’d like to offer ceasefire to the Ottomans as well, neither of us has anything to gain from continuing to fight.
To go from war to ceasefire takes 2 turns, so that is not possible right now (by the rules).
It’s a tough situation because I don’t want to see the French fleet annihilated. Perhaps we three powers (UK/France/Ottomans) could reach some sort of naval pact? Keep the UK outside the Mediterranean and keep the French/Ottomans inside?

The Ottomans don’t have any in-game diplomatic actions.
UK had many chances to make a deal, but they really decided France IS their objective. So I will do everything that is in my power to fight the mad warmongers, even if this means another nation will win this game.
Please, be very clear with political actions, I need to understand how to apply them.

to renew the Open Borders, you must go to ceasefire or alliance for a turn. so in other words, this turn you go to ceasefire, and then next turn you go to open borders again.
