This is what happened long story short.
Bane breaks Batmans back
Bruce wayne names Azrael as the successor to be Batman
Azrael beats Bane and goes crazy
Bruce’s back heals and he trains to fight Azrael and take it back and wins -
Welll Batman does break his back…

Bruce’s back heals and he trains to fight Azrael and take it back and winsThis is the Bane storyline. Grayson is Batman while Bruce trains though. But Bane does not ever kill Batman. The first part available in collected form Knightfall Collection.
Jen is semi-correct though that in the Final Crisis storyline Batman dies (actually he is sent back in time) and Grayson again becomes Batman.

Grayson does not become batman in Knightfall/Knightquest/Knightsend Azrael was Batman in each of those AFTER Bruce takes back being batman Grayson becomes batman in PRODIGAL for a short while.
And your right about final crisis but it has no bearing on Knightfall or the batman movie.

This reminds me of the song “I’m my own Grandpa” ….

@Guerrilla:
Remember we are only 12 particles of matter and four forces of nature, which is a wonderfully and significant story, which we have to stop somewhere and leave you something to imagine… :-D
Says the naturalist…
I think the point of not allowing politics is not allowing conversations which at their base elements require someone to defend core value systems that are at the center of a person’s psyche. I do believe religion comes into play there. We had multiple religious discussions (more between monotheists/atheists) under the political boards, I remember being involved in those debates, just as heated as the political discussions. And c’mon everyone’s religion (deeply held value systems), whether theist or atheist, drives what they believe should happen in politics, so invariably, talking about religion brings politics into the discussion. There is a line you cross.
I think the problem here is this was about a movie and not about a tragic shooting surrounding that movie. Let’s keep it to the movie.
GG
Or perhaps you weren’t thinking about the key element that drove this post forward, that drives so much forward…… Booze :-P :lol:
